TNDC sponsors Canada Day celebrations in Dease Lake

Dease Lake was a vision of red and white on July 1 for Canada Day celebrations and TNDC showed its red and white – with accents of black – to sponsor the community celebration and mark its own birthday milestone.

TNDC had a 30^th anniversary-themed float in the Canada Day parade, which started at the Dease Lake School and ended at the community baseball diamond. TNDC also hosted the barbecue providing burgers, hotdogs, ice cream and beverages at the ball field as well as organized and sponsored the kids’ relay races and games, which were held on the RCMP detachment lawn across street.

TNDC, the business arm of the Tahltan Nation, marked its 30^th anniversary on June 26, kicking off a year of celebration, which includes hosting events and sponsoring community initiatives.
